Project Name:

Providing Customer Service for a National Secure Data Service Through a Data Concierge

Contractor: BrightQuery, Inc.

Lessons Learned

  • The completion of formal architecture documentation early in the project lifecycle, including clear documentation of data flows, module boundaries, governance layers, and integration points, served as a shared reference for development teams and agency stakeholders, and proved to be a major operational enabler.
  • Demonstrating partial but functional user experiences early fosters constructive feedback and builds shared ownership across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Building on prior related NSDS projects enables faster validation, reduces learning curves, and increases confidence in early-stage system design.
